A buying and planning hub for stock adhesive chrome letters, numbers and punctuation. They are in stock and ready to apply.

Buying guide

Choose height by surface

Tailgates and boat transoms usually take 2 to 4 inch letters. Mailboxes and toolboxes look right at 1 to 2 inches.

Block or script

Block letters read from farther away. Script letters suit names and classic-car styling.

Count every character

Count letters, numbers, spaces and punctuation before ordering, and order a spare of letters that repeat.

Measuring & installation

  1. Measure the flat area. Measure the smooth, flat space available, and avoid body lines and seams.
  2. Dry-fit with tape. Lay a strip of masking tape as a baseline and test-place letters with the liner still on.
  3. Clean with alcohol. Wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. Apply above about 60°F.
  4. Press firmly and wait. Peel the liner, press each letter for 30 seconds, and avoid washing for 24 to 72 hours.

FAQs

Are these real chrome?

They are chrome-finish letters with automotive-grade adhesive pre-applied, not custom-plated metal.

Will they survive car washes?

Once the adhesive has cured for a few days, properly applied letters hold up to normal washing.

Do you have numbers and symbols?

Yes. Numbers 0 to 9 and common punctuation are stocked alongside the alphabet.

Can I remove them later?

Yes. Warm the letter, slide fishing line behind it, then clean off the adhesive residue.
